Tesla has recently confirmed it will launch a program to offer certified pre-owned vehicles, which would allow customers to buy the electric cars at lower price points.

Fuel Saver App from Bosch SoftTec offers 3 different strategies

Drivers using the new Fuel Saver App from Bosch SoftTec GmbH can customize settings to help them to save money when refueling their vehicles at filling stations in Germany. The app offers drivers three different strategies—Thrift Driver, Time Watcher, or Money Collector—to choose from, depending on their own time preferences and money-saving goals. Based on information acquired from the vehicle’s fuel gauge, the Fuel Saver App determines which filling station along or near the chosen route has the best price.

India’s third largest carmaker by sales,  Mahindra & Mahindra, on Tuesday said it had signed a binding agreement to buy 51 per cent of Peugeot Motorcycles, the French car manufacturer’s motorcycle unit.

Europe’s booming small SUV segment is giving a much-needed boost to beleaguered mass-market brands such as Renault, Peugeot and Opel.

The success of models such as the Renault Captur, Peugeot 2008 and Opel/Vauxhall Mokka also is attracting more automakers to the sector as western European sales of small SUVs are forecast to more than double to nearly 1 million by 2020, according researchers at IHS Automotive.
