Ariel unveils Atom Police car

Avon and Somerset police force has taken delivery of one of the 155mph cars which has been painted in the force livery and fitted with special aerodynamic blue lights. The vehicle, an Ariel Atom looks more like a Formula One racing machine and is thought to be the quickest police car in the world

Ariel has launched a special Atom Police car in collaboration with Avon and Somerset Constabulary. The one-off Atom PL1 has been created to raise awareness for the Safer Rider campaign, which aims to reduce the number of accidents involving motorcycles over the summer months.
