BMW plans to cut €100 million of German labor costs per year

BMW intends to cut €100 million ($136 million) of German labor costs annually from 2015 onwards, a German newspaper reported, citing workers’ representatives.

Navigant forecasts global NGV sales to hit 4.2M units in 2023

According to a recent report from Navigant Research, worldwide sales of light-duty natural gas vehicles (NGVs) will grow from 2.5 million annually in 2014 to 4.2 million in 2023.

As a result, the total number of NGVs on roads worldwide will approximately double to nearly 40 million in the next 10 years, accounting for 2.6% of all vehicles on the roads.

Motorist fined £600 for speeding at 149mph on M25

A motorist was caught on speed camera travelling at 149mph on the M25 – the highest speed recorded by a speed camera between April 2013 and May 2014.

The driver was caught in Kent and was banned from driving for six months and was fined £600.
