Ford will be showing the new Fiesta with sharper design today in Amsterdam at Ford’s special “Go Further” product event hosted by Ford President and CEO Alan Mulally and attended by 2,500 dealers.
In addition to sharper design, the new Fiesta features a host of new technologies including voice-activated in-car connectivity system Ford SYNC, Active City Stop and the European debut of MyKey.
Vauxhall has released first details and teaser images of their new mid-sized convertible called Cascada, that essentially replaces the Astra TwinTop.
The Cascada is 70mm longer than Audi’s A5 Convertible, measuring 4.7 metres in length. The roof can be opened or closed at the touch of a button, at speeds up to 30mph.
‘First-party fraud’, including ‘fronting’, was the most common type of motor finance fraud in the second quarter of 2012, according to the latest statistics from the Finance & Leasing Association. First-party motor finance fraud usually occurs when a person takes out credit on behalf of someone else and a finance agreement is ‘fronted’ when a vehicle is not being used by the customer who was originally approved by the finance company.
