Tyre safety key to motorway progress

Keep your tyres in check to help you stay safe on motorways – that is the message today from the Institute of Advanced Motorists after a total of 3,852 tyre-related incidents were reported on England’s motorways between April and the end of June 2013 – an average of 1,284 per month

One-in-five drivers leave oil checks too late

Research conducted on behalf of engine oil manufacturer Mobil 1 shows that one in five drivers don’t check their oil until prompted by a low oil level warning. Fair enough, 80% manage, but it’s tremendously important to regularly check oil levels and it’s not difficult.
