E-type heads trio of Brits at top of Spring Classic bidders’ list. A fine 1963 Series One Jaguar E-type FHC took top honours at our Spring Classic sale at Sandown Park on April 29th, powering past top estimate to achieve just under £51,000, despite having a non-original engine block.

Car parts boom brings hope to Bulgaria

In its glory days, Ruse, a town along the Danube river trading route, was a thriving economic hub that was home to Bulgaria’s first chamber of commerce and known as ‘little Vienna’ for its Austrian-style buildings.

A hundred years on and after decades of economic decline under Communism, its location on the southeastern edge of Europe, near Turkey and bordering Romania, is helping attract investors in the form of auto suppliers.

BMW M2 Coupe prototype starts testing

BMW M4 Coupe (successor to the M3 Coupe) is an amazing car, but there is something missing, when comparing it to the E46 M3. It is too “clean” and does not seem as driver oriented as the E46.

There is speculation that it will be released as a 2015 MY and others suggest as a 2016 MY.

BMW and SGL JV to triple carbon fiber plant capacity; world’s largest carbon fiber plant

Due to the high demand for carbon fiber in automotive production, SGL Automotive Carbon Fibers, a joint venture between the BMW Group and the SGL Group, will triple the capacity of the carbon fiber plant in Moses Lake, Washington. SGL and BMW made the announcement at the groundbreaking ceremony for the planned site expansion. The expansion will be funded by an investment of US$200 million, on top of the previously invested US$100 million.
