StudioTorino Moncenisio based on Porsche Cayman S

Italian coachbuilder Studiotorino has been creating limited-edition cars since 2005 and last summer they announced a new bespoke model called Moncenisio, based on the new Porsche Cayman S.

WHO links 7 million premature deaths annually to air pollution; 12.5% of total global deaths

The World Health Organization now estimates that in 2012 around 7 million people died—one in eight (12.5%) of total global deaths—as a result of air pollution exposure. This new estimate more than doubles previous estimates and confirms that air pollution is now the world’s largest single environmental health risk, according to WHO, which is the directing and coordinating authority for health within the United Nations system.

European Union antitrust regulators raided French car parts maker Faurecia, U.S.-based supplier Tenneco, and several auto exhaust systems makers in the latest crackdown against suspected price-fixing in the global auto industry.

Leoni says CEO Probst will leave in June 2015

German supplier Leoni said today that CEO Klaus Probst will leave the company at his own request at the end of June 2015.

The supervisory board will pick his successor, who will be tasked with executing the company’s new strategy, early next year, Leoni added in a statement.
