Honda NSX prototype to participate at Goodwood Festival hillclimb

The new Honda NSX supercar has been shown as a concept at various Motor Shows and the prototype will be shown again at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in June, when it takes on the world’s most famous hillclimb.

This is a rare opportunity to see and hear the all-new version of a NSX supercar, powered by an innovative three-motor Sport Hybrid Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system.

German supplier Schaeffler took a €380 million ($526 million) provision after being fined in a European Union antitrust probe.

Sea-Tac Airport launches major ground support equipment electrification project

The Port of Seattle, along with Alaska Airlines, Western Washington Clean Cities and US Representative Adam Smith unveiled a new project providing nearly 600 electric charging stations throughout the airport for ground support equipment (GSE) such as baggage tugs, bag ramps and pushback vehicles.

Converting the GSE from fossil fuel to electric, each year the project is projected to save $2.8 million in airline fuel costs and 10,000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions—the equivalent of taking 1,900 cars off the road.The port has installed bright yellow charging corrals with smart, fast-charging plug-ins for vehicles to receive a full charge in less than 4 hours.

A BYD electric transit bus is entering service in the Turkish capital for a one-month trial. The trial in Ankara is the latest in a series of European trials of the electric bus; more than 25 major cities have evaluated the bus in revenue service.

Ford installing GE WattStation chargers, charging network at facilities
