Simply Vauxhall show debuts at Beaulieu

The first ever Simply Vauxhall show takes place this weekend – 28 July – at Beaulieu, and the organiser is promising a wide array of Griffins to view.  The show is the latest addition to the rapidly expanding event calendar at the National motor museum.

This is a great opportunity to view hundreds of Vauxhalls, meet up with like-minded enthusiasts and enjoy a great day out at the Beaulieu attraction, which includes the National Motor Museum, Bond in Motion, World of Top Gear, Beaulieu Abbey, Palace House and the gardens.

Privacy concerns voiced over Austin, Texas license plate scanners

Amid complaints that the privacy of drivers is being invaded, Austin police say their use of an automatic license plate reader is an invaluable tool in locating stolen vehicles.

In a report released last week, the American Civil Liberties Union said the use of the readers was widespread and that the lack of state policies on how the data is used and how long it is stored raises serious privacy concerns.
