World’s First Arabian Hypercar – Lykan Hypersport Has Already Over 100 Orders!
Middle East finally has its own homegrown hypercar called the Lykan Hypersport by W Motors. The Lykan Hypersport is powered by a mid-mounted twin-turbo flat-six with around 750 horsepower and 737 lb ft of torque. 0-60 mph comes in just 2.7 seconds and the top speed is 245 mph.
At the Qatar Motor Show, W Motors announced the Hypersport will be limited to just seven units, each priced from US$3.4 million (£2.17 million). W Motors has reportedly already taken over 100 orders for this exclusive two-seater, which is little hard to believe. Are there over 100 down payments or just over 100 rich oil sheiks who have shown interest in the car? Surely if there is such a demand we are sure W Motors will be glad to build more than seven cars.
So in addition to 750 hp, what else do you get for $3.4 million?
LED headlights feature white gold surrounds encrusted with diamonds. Buyers are able to choose to integrate rubies, emeralds or sapphires throughout the car depending on their colour choice.
The interior features gold-stitched leather and a “Virtual Holographic Display” which acts as the instrument panel. Buyers will also receive a limited edition Cyrus Klepcy watch valued at $200,000 and a 24/7 concierge service.
W Motors also has a second model planned called SuperSport, which is “coming soon” according to their web site.
