Very rare Lamborghini Miura SV burns to the ground in central London -video
This is just sad. Newer Italian supercars have been catching fire quite often in the past few years, but it is one thing seeing a rare classic sports car catch fire and burn to the ground.
Details are limited, but this rare Lamborghini Miura SV, one of the coolest and most exotic classic sports cars burned to the ground in central London during a photo shoot. We feel sorry for the owner who was probably right there witnessing how his yellow Miura SV burns to the ground… and if he was not, then this video is clearly not going to make his day any better. It looks like the fire started from the engine bay, very likely a problem with carburetor which on early Miura’s was designed exclusively for racing applications and not suitable for idling.
The damage? In the region of £1.5 million, but that money will not get the owner a new one…
