Vauxhall has released first details and design sketches about the new Adam ROCKS concept ahead of its debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

The Adam ROCKS Concept is an urban mini-crossover and compared to the production version of the Adam city car, it is taller, wider with a tougher look and a cabrio roof. The chassis is raised by 15mm and it has a 20mm wider stance.

“With even bolder design than any other ADAM, the ROCKS shows the vast potential for personalisation our stylish urban-chic newcomer offers. It combines the toughness of a crossover with the coolness of open air driving,” said Malcolm Ward, Vauxhall/Opel Lead Design Director. “As a symbol for fashion-led, active drivers wanting to stand out from the crowd, ADAM ROCKS is just one possible answer to the question of how new development paths for this unique car could be forged.”

The ROCKS Concept is not a full cabrio, but uses a similar roof system as Fiat 500C and Citroen DS3 Cabrio. The Adam Cabrio is reportedly already in works and is scheduled to arrive in early 2014.
