The new Paceman is the first Mini to feature four-wheel drive on a 3 door model. The Mini brand have managed to create a personality for the Paceman whilst keeping the recognisable features that are considered a trade mark for the franchise. The design of the Paceman can only be compared to the Clubman yet three doors create a sporty persona. The body has angled elongated doors, a sloping roofline and bulging wheel arches which are a first to be introduced. This still keeps the traditional look and feel however this also creates what Mini is calling a ‘personality’ for the four-wheel drive. Made and produced by BMW in Austria the Paceman will continue the reliability standards that we have come to expect with Mini. The size of the car understandably has a lot of space with a supposedly maximum boot space of 1,080 litres. Four individual seats are a slightly disappointing factor that it can’t accommodate for 5, which could be a proving factor against families gaining an interest towards the new Mini. The Paceman is unfortunately less practical than the Countryman yet more expensive.

The Paceman is slightly sportier than most of the other models in the Mini franchise and the brand new stylistic features will appeal to many people who are looking for that distinctive Mini.
