Ford in Europe is introducing on the all-new Mondeo a new air filtration system that blocks up to 99% of pollen, almost all nitrogen dioxide—a key trigger of asthma—as well as gaseous pollutants and odors.
The new filter is 50% more effective than its predecessor at blocking ultra-fine particles, said Volker Scheer, technical expert, Environment and Health, Ford of Europe.
Ford has premiered the Mondeo Vignale concept, which shows off how the top-of-the-range models in the next generation Mondeo range will look. The Vignale trim level will be introduced across several models in the Ford range, and as well as a luxury equipment level, will also be backed up by special dealer and customer services.
I seem to be saying it a lot this year, but isn’t it amazing how landmark anniversaries of new car launches have a habit of making you look at certain cars in a new light. But really? The Mondeo is 20 years old? How did that happen?
