Porsche 911 GT2 RS Muscle Play by Wimmer RS
When Porsche introduced the limited edition 911 GT2 RS back in May 2010, all 500 units were sold in less than two months – each costing little over £164,000.
The highly modified 3.6-litre twin-turbo 6-cylinder boxer engine produces an impressive 611bhp.
But there are always people who want more!
WIMMER Racing Technology has now released their performance package for the 911 GT2 RS dubbed Muscle Play, that takes the 3.6-litre boxer engine to an all new level.
Thanks to optimized turbochargers, a new induction system, a high-flow fuel pump, new crankshaft, sports camshafts, upgraded timing chains, new manifolds, machined cylinder heads and improved pistons and connecting rods. As a result the 911 GT2 RS packs 1,006bhp and 1,108Nm of torque.
0-60mph comes now in 3.4 seconds. Not very impressive, but forget the 3.4 second run to 60mph, because that says everything about the traction limitations of two-wheel drive. More meaningful is the 0-120mph in 8.7 seconds, 0-180mph in 15.5 seconds and the top speed of 242 mph (389km/h).
The 911 GT2 RS Muscle Play also has a blue foil wrap with Wimmer graphics.
