New Maserati Quattroporte makes its UK debut in London

Night before last the new Quattroporte was premiered for the first time in UK at a special event at the exclusive Hurlingham Club in London.
The event was conducted by tv presenter and racing driver Vicki Butler-Henderson alongside General Manager Maserati Europe, Giulio Pastore and Region Manager Maserati North Europe, Peter Denton.
Over 400 guests attended the event. For us these names don’t say much, but if you are into fashion and show business then some of the names in the gallery below might ring a bell.
The new Quattroporte will be offered with two engines: 530bhp 3.8-litre V8 and a 410bhp 3.0-litre V6, both of which are twin turbocharged and linked to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The more powerful V8 enables the Quattroporte to hit 0-62 mph in just 4.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 191 mph, while the V6 does it in 4.9 seconds and has a top speed of 177 mph.
In UK, the Quattroporte will be available exclusively with rear-wheel drive, while the all-wheel drive is optional for the left-hand drive model.
