Mercedes Concept Coupe SUV revealed

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the Concept Coupe SUV at the Beijing Motor Show, described as “Sensual as a coupé – visionary as an SUV.”
The Concept Coupe SUV is obviously MB’s answer to BMW’s X6 with plenty of similar details.
While Mercedes has not mention anything about a possible production model, it is likely a toned down production model will be revealed later this year or in early 2015.
The Concept Coupe SUV features coupe like roofline, muscular wings, large wheel arches, huge 22-inch wheels, high beltline and generous ground clearance. It is just 1.75 metres in height, while the width is over two metres and it is almost five metres length.
The rear with its slim band of rear lights with their ruby-like, three-dimensional look and the registration plate now incorporated in the rear bumper, follows a similar design line first presented with the S-Class Coupé, which will be followed by all coupé models from Mercedes-Benz in future. The rear window is rounded off at the top, just as on the large coupe.
The concept is powered by a 328bhp 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 linked to 9G-TRONIC PLUS nine-speed automatic transmission with torque converter lock-up, sending power to 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive.
