John Danby Team take Lotus 6-Hour Honours
The father and son team of David and Rob Fenn, together with Michael Lyons, piloted the John Danby Racing Motorsport Elise to Lotus Cup UK class and overall race title in the MSVR Lotus On Track 6 hour endurance race at Brands Hatch today.
Brands Hatch sees the annual end-of-season 6-hour endurance race for both the Elise Trophy and Lotus Cup UK.
Shown second is the John Danby Racing Motorsport Elise pedalled by the Rob and David Fenn brothers with Michael Lyons currently at the wheel.
The impressive early lead set by guesting Porsche driver Sean Edwards showing his skills on this very damp and slippery Kent circuit, creating a significant lead in the Europa was lost to collision damage late after the third hour, leaving the #74 car needing to spend valuable time in the Europa Racing garage. The Fox Motorsport team were 2nd in their Elise S1.
Team ODRIC driven Andrew Wright and Steve Quick won the Elise Trophy class with the Q-MECH Racing team second.
