Following last month’s unveiling of a new Tour de France racing bike for Team Sky, Jaguar has extended its support to Team Sky by designing, engineering and building a bespoke F-TYPE Coupé high performance support vehicle for the team to use during Stage 20 of the race.

The bespoke F-TYPE Coupé by Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations is based on the F-TYPE R Coupé, powered by the same 542bhp 5.0-litre V8 supercharged engine with 680Nm of torque.

The main new bespoke feature is the removal of a rear glass that is replaced with a new racking solution, which carries two of the team’s Pinarello Bolide TT bikes.

The exterior is finished in Team Sky’s livery, with the same theme continuing inside the car.

Other special features that could be handy during the race include separate electric supply in the boot which provides power to the radios, amplifiers, microphones, horns and televisions.

There are no production plans, though wealthy bike lovers can probably order something similar from the Special Vehicle Operations division.
