Jaguar Land Rover October 2012 sales higher by 7%
Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover in the month of October 2012 were 27,897 vehicles, higher by 7% over October 2011.
Jaguar wholesales for the month were 3,339 and cumulative wholesales were 24,945 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 24,558 and cumulative wholesales were 163,846 vehicles. Cumulative wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover for the fiscal were 188,791 vehicles, higher by 21%.
The Tata Motors Group global wholesales, including Jaguar Land Rover, were 100,660 nos., in October 2012, higher by 6% over October 2011. Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were 679,051, higher by 7%, compared to the corresponding period in 2011-12.
Global wholesales of all commercial vehicles – Tata, Tata Daewoo and the Tata Hispano Carrocera range — were 51,396 nos., in October 2012, higher by 19%, over October 2011. Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were at 334,941 nos., higher by 4%, over October 2011.
Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles were at 49,264 nos., in October 2012, lower by 5%. Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were 344,110 nos., higher by 10%.
Global wholesales of Tata passenger vehicles were at 21,367 nos., for the month, lower by 17%, over October 2011. Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were flat at 155,319 nos.
