Great Walls says this is a pick-up for the ‘lifestyle’ buyers. The Steed Tracker (below) gets special fit General Grabber All-Terrain Tyres, an over-rail bedliner, a towbar with audible monitor, front and rear mud flaps, rubber mats and metallic paint, and promises to be the ‘perfect outdoor companion’.Both Steeds also come with 16-inch alloy wheels, daytime running lights, remote central locking, a Thatcham-approved Category 1 alarm, electric front and rear windows, an Alpine CD/radio with USB/MP3 and Bluetooth connectivity, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, air-conditioning, heated fronted seats and a full leather interior.

There’s currently only one engine option – a Great Wall 2.0-litre 16-valve turbocharged diesel that puts out 143PS and delivers an overall fuel economy of 34.0mpg (combined).
