Finding a decent Garage
So you want to Service or repair your car, you don’t want to or cant do it yourself so where do you take it?
Of course recommendation is always the best way to find a Garage that is honest, reliable, reasonably priced and has a good standard of workmanship. If you cant get a good recommendation it can be just pot luck. As with all businesses any Garage can set up a very convincing “Shop Front” by way of a web site or fancy premises. But its what goes on at the dirty end, the Workshop, that’s what really counts.
So what can you do?
I have one recommendation and that’s the Good Garage Scheme – see the link on the right hand side to get to their website.
This company list, by area Good Garages, as the name suggests!! Not only that it shows feedback from customers. They set certain standards that the Garages must meet to become and remain members, so its a good marker for finding a Garage you can trust.
