End of last year Air Malta organized a drag race between an Airbus A320 and a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta to raise funds for the Paqpali Ghall-Istrina charity. Organizers managed to raise 178,820 EUR.

Obviously it is not the first time a supercar races an airplane or a helicopter. Still an interesting and fun to watch video to see a big aircraft racing a lightweight high-performance supercar.

The race was held at the Malta International Airport and the F12 Berlinetta was driven by Christopher Sultana while, the Airbus A320 was piloted by Patrick Calleja. Check out the video below to see the result of this race between two very different vehicles.
