Europe’s biggest ever Mustang meeting with close to 1,000 cars
Even though Ford Mustang has never been available officially in Europe until now, there are plenty of people who love the iconic pony car and just in time for the model’s 50th anniversary a special event was recently held in Cologne, Germany.
Almost 1,000 Mustangs gathered in Cologne, making it the largest ever Ford Mustang meeting in Europe.
There were cars from Mustang enthusiasts from all over Europe with most cars coming from Germany UK, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, Austria, Denmark, France, Italy, Luxembourg and the Czech Republic.
The first 500 new Mustang fastback and convertible models become available to pre-order last month during the UEFA Champions League Final and they were reserved in just 30 seconds, showing the strong interest for the new Mustang in Europe.
In Europe the new Mustang will be offered with Ford’s all-new 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine that delivers more than 305bhp and 407Nm of torque, or the 5.0-litre V8 engine producing more than 420bhp and 529Nm of torque.
