Don’t Panic! Dad’s Army van to go under the hammer
One of the stars of the classic British sit-com Dad’s Army is all set to go under the hammer in December.
The 1935 Ford Box Van – more famously known as Lance Corporal Jones’ butcher’s van – has been catalogued with an estimate of between £20,000 and £30,000.
It appeared in many of the 80 farcical episodes and has been part of the private Patrick Collection since 1990.
