Composite Worx from Bergamo, Italy has revealed their Lotus Exige based project car called Extrema. The Extrema is powered by a Chevrolet Corvette sourced LS9 V8 engine with 649bhp.

The body is made of carbon fibre and so are the SP-1 twin skin full carbon seats, meaning this small V8 powered sports car weighs just 970kg.

Acceleration from 0-62mph comes in just 2.9 seconds, 0-100mph in 7 seconds, while the top speed is 200mph.
