Chery has released first pictures of their Beta 5 concept ahead of a public debut later this week at the Shanghai Auto Show.

Details are limited but as you can see the Chinese automakers are truly working hard to deliver better looking and obviously more reliable vehicles. The Beta 5 concept features a LED daytime running lights, large alloy wheels, plastic body cladding and a slender grille.

The concept reportedly previews a production model that will be launched in 2015 and is expected to use a naturally-aspirated 2.0-litre engine and a supercharged 1.6-litre unit.
