American Government predicts major demand for auto technicians
More than 1.2 million technician jobs to arise; U.S. government expects too few technicians will be available.
In the next five years, the U.S. Department of Labor projects there will be more than 1.2 million jobs in the collision, automotive, motorcycle and marine industries. With vehicles lasting longer on the road and a slew of aging technicians headed to retirement, the industry is scrambling to educate the public about the opportunities in the industry.
