US EPA to propose eliminating use of R-134a refrigerant in vehicles
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced that they will soon issue a proposed rule that would eliminate the use of 134a as a refrigerant in new motor vehicles and as an aerosol in many consumer products.

General Motors Co. is recalling almost 800,000 Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 compact cars to fix a problem that could prevent the airbags from deploying in a crash.
