MINI has unveiled the MINI Vision which shows what the all-new MINI hatchback, due to be launched early next year, will look like. Unusually the Vision isn’t a physical concept car, instead it’s only a digital model, but it’s enough to give us a very good idea of the look of the new car.

Mazda’s 1st-half sales fall 21% on weaker small car demand
Mazda Motor Corp. sold 82,531 vehicles in China in the first six months, down 21 percent from the same period last year. The sales slump was caused by weak demand for the Mazda2 and Mazda3, which are built at Changan Mazda Automobile Co. From January through June, sales of the two compact models dropped 43 percent year-on-year to 25,498 units, according to Mazda
Volkswagen’s Phaeton is 10 years old. That doesn’t sound very old, but very few cars manage a production run of that long without an all-new model coming along and interrupting the flow. In fact there are only a few other cars on sale that have been available for longer without anything other than a facelift or two.
