Los Angeles dealer and sports car tuner Beau Boeckmann has developed a $1 million Ford GT-based super car with a top speed of 225 miles per hour. The Galpin Ford GTR1 runs on a twin-turbocharged 5.4-liter, V-8 engine that produces 1,024 hp and 739 pound feet of torque.
The new Range Rover Sport is 420kg lighter than its predecessor. Land Rover says it has worked on the driving dynamics of its second-generation Range Rover Sport with the aim of taking sales from its road-focused rivals, the BMW X5 and Porsche Cayenne.
Fiat has launched a new GQ special edition of its popular 500 in a tie up with the men’s magazine. Fiat says it is aimed at a predominately male audience which is hardly surprising given the GQ collaboration but doesn’t exactly tie in with the popularity of the 500 with female buyers.
