Among the panel discussions that took place at last week’s 2013 Commercial Vehicle Outlook Conference (CVOC) in Dallas, Texas, was one entitled, The Future of Fuel Economy: 2017 and Beyond.
Trillium CNG and Golden Eagle Distributors, Inc. opened Casa Grande’s first public access heavy duty compressed natural gas (CNG) station.
The station is located at Golden Eagle distributors, 1000 N. Jefferson Ave. in Casa Grande, Ariz. Golden Eagle will use the station to fuel its delivery fleet. However the facility is also open the public, available for fueling 24 hours per day, seven days a week, and is accessible by Class 8 trucks.
Rarely used for racing at the club level, the Silverstone International circuit saw an impressive 26-car combined grid for Saturday’s 750MC Roadsports race.
Split into 3 classes by power to weight and held over 45 minutes with a compulsory 1-minute pitstop, this new series is becoming the country’s entry point for endurance racing and is attracting a wide range of cars, from Mazda MX5s through BMW Z4s to turbocharged Toyota MR2 roadsters.
