Lawsuit filed against Pilot president over rebate discrepancies

A new lawsuit alleges that the president of Pilot Flying J told an Illinois trucking company that Pilot could not help it with any rebate discrepancies after the company said its fuel deal wasn’t in writing, but that the company subsequently received a rebate check after raising the issue with Pilot CEO Jimmy Haslam.

The allegation was made by J.F. Freight Company, of Palatine, Ill.

Charles Morgan leaves Morgan Motor Company

The Morgan Motor Company has announced that Charles Morgan has left the company, with immediate effect.

A press release has confirmed that Charles Morgan is no longer part of the management team or board of directors, which effectively ends the Morgan family’s 103-year involvement with the day-to-day management of the company.
