Audi A3 TDI Sportback makes US debut at New York Show

The Audi A3 TDI diesel Sportback is making its US debut at the New York International Auto Show. The A3 TDI Sportback will join the new A3 family being introduced over the next 18 months—the Audi A3 Sedan, Audi A3 Cabriolet, A3 TDI clean diesel sedan, the high-performance S3 Sedan and the A3 Sportback e-tron gasoline electric hybrid (PHEV).

Ford celebrated the 50th birthday of its beloved Mustang by displaying a new model of the convertible on top of the Empire State Building in New York on Wednesday.

Fifty years ago this week, Ford unveiled the Mustang at New York World’s Fair. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of one of the world’s most popular cars, Ford is marking the milestone by revealing a Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition. The special edition will go on sale this autumn and just 1,964 examples will be built.

Volvo Cars introducing S60 plug-in hybrid concept at Beijing show

Volvo Cars will reveal the Volvo S60L PPHEV (Petrol Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) Concept Car at the 2014 Beijing International Auto Show. A production version of the S60L plug-in hybrid will be launched in China early 2015 and will be produced at the Chengdu plant.
