Its been a while since we heard anything from Bristol Motors. Last time in 2011 there was a rumour about a 200mph Four Wheel Drive Range Extender EV, which was suppose to debut in 2013, but as you know it never happened.

Looks like Bristol is finally bringing out something new, after it was bought in 2011. The automaker has announced the first new Bristol car in more than a decade just in time for company’s 70th anniversary.

Codenamed Project Pinnacle, the new model will be launched at the Kensington High Street showroom in 2015.

Details are very limited and all we really know is that the model is “a reference to Bristol Cars’ rich and exciting heritage, executed as a modern take on the best of British craftsmanship and engineered to excite as a high performance Bristol car”. Well that does not tell anything to be honest.

In addition, the company also confirmed that development work is underway on an all-new flagship Bristol Range-Extended Electric grand tourer that will use Frazer-Nash Research’s technology.

Plus there will be also a new Bristol Luxury merchandise range including clothing, model cars, bureau items, as well as accessories by Paul Smith.

It’s great to see another British automaker make a return and we are looking forward to seeing what they are working on.
