BMW has released the first ever 2-Series Coupe teaser video, ahead of the model’s official debut scheduled for the 25th of October.

BMW is getting ready to launch a brand new model, the 2-Series Coupe, and in order to mark the event, the company has released a teaser video with the vehicle, which should be more than enough to attract some attention towards it.

The brand new BMW 2-Series Coupe will apparently not have anything in common with the 1-Series Coupe and Convertible but the model will actually receive some popular versions, like the 218i, the 225i or the 220d, which will later be joined by an M235i and even by an M5.

These last two models will be powered by a six-cylinder 3.0 liter turbocharged engine, which should produce a total output of 320 HP (235 kW) in the M235i and 350 HP (257 kW) in the M2. The BMW M2 will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.6 seconds while the M235i will be 0.3 seconds slower. The BMW 2-Series Coupe will come with a rear-wheel drive layout but it will also get the xDrive AWD.

Additional details on the model will be announced on the 25th of October, when it will be officially unveiled.
