Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible unveiled

Pictures of the new 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible are out, ahead of the possible debut next month at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The only real difference to the coupe is the fun of open top driving.

As in the Coupe, the GT Speed Convertible is powered by 616bhp 6.0 litre twin-turbo W12 engine mated to a new ZF eight-speed close-ratio automatic transmission.Performance numbers should be similar to the coupe, meaning a top speed of 205mph and 0-60mph time in just 4.0 seconds.

Changes compared to the standard Continental GT also include an enhanced chassis with up-rated springs, anti-roll bars and bushes, and lowered ride height.

There are also exclusive 21-inch, ten-spoke alloys, dark-tint matrix to the radiator shell and lower bumper grilles and ‘rifled’ exhaust tailpipes.

Interior features a quilted, perforated leather and bright metal detailing.
