Amazing what can pass MOT test!
Well it never ceases to amaze me what will pass an MOT test. The brakes shown below are from a 2002 VW Golf rear brakes. Now in fairness to the tester due to the visual restrictions the pads are not visable and the discs are just and advise (VOSA rules!)
What is really amazing is that even in this condition the brake efficiency on the rolling road did not give any cause for concern….WOW!
The driver had not reported any problems either. Luckily due to the advise on the brake discs the customer had the work done.
Alot of customers would say leave it because it passed the MOT…now is that an accident waiting to happen or what?
