Lamborghini donates a new Huracan LP 610-4 Polizia to the Italian State Police

Lamborghini has donated the police version of the all-new Huracan, dubbed ‘Huracan LP 610-4 Polizia’ to the Italian State Police.
Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, handed over the car to the head of the Italian State Police, Prefect Alessandro Pansa, in a ceremony in Rome at the “Museo delle Auto Storiche della Polizia di Stato”.
This is not the first time Lamborghini gives a bespoke supercar to the Italian police.
The Gallardo was also used by the Italian police force since 2004 and 2008.
The Huracan LP 610-4 Polizia is powered by a 602bhp 5.2-litre V10, enabling it to reach a top speed over 202mph.
In addition to a traditional blue and white livery, four sirens and an LED light bar, the Huracan Polizia is also equipped with a “Proof Video Data System” which uses a camera and computer to record suspicious activity.
It is unlikely this car going to be used daily, but reportedly the “Huracán police car will begin service within the end of this year in order to sustain security on Italian roads by continuing accident and crime prevention”.
