2018 BMW X7 SUV rendered by Theophilus Chin

Back in March, BMW announced and investment of one billion U.S. dollars by 2016 at its U.S. plant in South Carolina, which will increase production capacity to 450,000 vehicles from 300,000 currently.
The biggest news was the confirmation of an all-new X7 – the biggest X model yet, going against Mercedes GL and Land Rover Range Rover.
Chairman of the Board, Norbert Reithofer said: “With the BMW X7, we are developing another, larger X model, which we will produce at our U.S. plant for our world markets – once again underscoring our commitment to the U.S.”
The X7 is expected to ride on a modified platform of the next-generation 7 Series with plenty of aluminium and carbon fibre elements.
Talented Theophilus Chin has now created two renderings showing the possible look of the new flagship SUV.
The front end is typical to BMW with just a bigger appearance, while the rear reminds us quite closely the competing Mercedes GL.
The X7 is expected to arrive in late 2017 or in early 2018 with prices starting from around £70,000.
