Porsche 921 Vision renderings shows possibilities of 928 successor
![]()
Anthony Colard is a very talented French industrial and automobile designer, who recently applied for a position at Porsche with this awesome project (2 weeks), envisioning a Porsche 928 successor, called the 921 Vision.
According to Anthony:”…keeping true to the original four-seater aluminium body design, the car has a slick and simple bodywork without any fancy speed activated wing or things like that”.
The 921 Vision would ideally be fitted with a front-mounted V8 engine producing 400bhp, taking the luxury sports-GT cruiser on to a theoretical top speed of 174mph. Of course a twin-turbo V8 from Panamera/Cayenne Turbo S would make it even more interesting.
He also adds, that the rear echoes back to the original 928 design with its very specific glasshouse, and the tail shows its Porsche DNA by mixing the original 928 recessed lamp design with the new Porsche 991 lamps.
We don’t know did Anthony get the job or not, but we like what we see here.
A successor to the 928 has been rumoured for a while and a modern day front-engined big coupe is clearly something many Porsche fans would love to see.
