PortAventura Entertainment S.A.U. has signed a licencing agreement with Ferrari to build Ferrari Land, a new Prancing Horse theme park, inside the PortAventura resort and theme park outside Barcelona in Spain.

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is very popular and a must visit anyone passionate about cars who goes to Abu Dhabi.

soon the fun will be lot closer in Spain, where the Ferrari Land will cover 75,000 square metres and include a variety of new and exciting attractions, like Europe’s highest and fastest vertical accelerator.

There will be also first Ferrari-themed hotel inside PortAventura – a luxury five-star establishment with 250 rooms, restaurants and a driving simulator.

The whole project costs roughly 100 million euros and the new Ferrari theme park will open in 2016. PortAventura is already a popular destination with 4,000,000 visitors a year, of whom 50% come from outside Spain. With the addition of Ferrari Land and other tourist attractions the goal is to achieve a target of around 5 million visitors a year.
