2015 Range Rover Sport SVR up close and on the track at Goodwood
Land Rover showed us the Sport SVR prototype at last week’s Goodwood Festival of Speed with a light camouflage, revealing most of the expected updates for the soon to be released production model from new bumpers to new quad exhaust setup at the rear.
The Sport SVR is powered by 542bhp 5.0-litre supercharged V8 producing, the exactly same output as in the range topping Jaguar F-Type R Coupe, XJR, XFR-S and XKR-S.
In the video you get to hear the big supercharged V8 up close, when the prototype was being uncrated and started up.
With 542bhp it clearly is not the most powerful SUV, but very close to the likes of Porsche Cayenne Turbo S and BMW X5 M.
The Range Rover Sport SVR will go into production in 2015 as the fastest and most powerful Range Rover ever created.
