2015 Ford Mustang Test Mule Spied

The next-generation Ford Mustang test mule has been caught testing in U.S. with a new bodywork at the front. The heavily disguised front has headlights moved a bit to the side to give more space for a huge front grille. This is the new Ford’s corporate face, we have already seen on the new Mondeo and Fusion.

Ford has already confirmed that the next Mustang will get an EcoBoost engine, very likely a 2.0-litre four-cylinder. There are also rumours about a turbo V6. The 5.0-litre v8 will be part of the range as well and the top of the range GT500 is expected to use the 5.8-litre engine, that in the current model produces 650 hp, though an EcoBoosted 5.0-litre V8 is another possibility for the top spec model.

The biggest news for European customers is that the new Mustang will be sold here as well. Yes, that means we are getting a right-hand drive Mustang.
