2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible Leaked

The new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray made its world debut earlier this week at the Detroit Auto Show. The new Corvette Stingray is better than the previous model. It is the most powerful standard Corvette ever, featuring a long carbon fibre bonnet, front fender vents, a removable ‘double bubble’ roof, HID headlights with integrated LEDs, a rear spoiler, a four-tailpipe exhaust system and Camaro-inspired taillights.

The interior has gone a long way as well compared to the sixth-generation model, boasting higher quality materials, dual eight-inch displays and new new seats with lightweight magnesium frame for exceptional comfort and support.

Just few days after the Coupe’s debut, the first pictures of the new Corvette Stingray Convertible have been leaked to the web (probably by Chevrolet), month’s before the expected arrival.

Images, published by The Auto Insider clearly look like official images, unless someone has done the best digital manipulation ever seen.

The only notable difference to the coupe is the lack of roof and rear spoiler, while the wheels seem to be smaller as well. The Convertible was expected to debut in late 2013 or in early 2014. We wouldn’t be surprised if the Stingray Convertible debuts already next month at the Chicago Auto Show or in late March at the New York Auto Show.
