NHTSA recalls Audis over sunroof glass and fuel line issues

Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. is recalling certain model year 2013 to 2014 Audi A8 and S8 vehicles equipped with a standard sunroof, manufactured March 12, 2013, through July 15, 2013, because the standard sunroof glass panel may shatter, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Mubea opens tailored rolled blanks factory in Kentucky

Auto supplier Mubea today opened a factory that makes tailored rolled blanks in northern Kentucky, just south of Cincinnati.

The $60 million, 75,000-square-foot factory will supply various automakers and is expected to create around 150 jobs by 2014.
