Peugeot RCZ R to debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed
Peugeot RCZ R as a Concept was previewed last year at the Paris Motor Show. The production model will make its debut next moth at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The road-going RCZ R is powered by a 260bhp 1.6-litre THP engine, making it the most powerful production model in Peugeot’s history.
Local Business Backed Racing at Castle Combe This Weekend
This weekend’s two days of racing at Castle Combe is backed by the Wiltshire Chamber of Commerce.
The first ‘double header’ race weekend of the season at Castle Combe on June 15 and 16 is dubbed the ‘Wessex Chambers Summer Races’. Members of the chamber are eligible for up to 25 free tickets which they can use as staff incentives or rewards and to invite clients who might never have experienced live motor sport before.
Saab parent’s $3 billion lawsuit versus GM thrown out by U.S. judge
Dutch sports car maker Spyker NV’s $3 billion lawsuit accusing General Motors Co. of trying to bankrupt Swedish automaker Saab was dismissed today by a U.S. judge who said the U.S. automaker had the right to block the sale of a company using its technology.
Spyker sued GM in August 2012, seeking damages and accusing the U.S. automaker of trying to stop a deal with Zhejiang Youngman Lotus Automobile Co. and eliminate a potential rival in the growing Chinese market.
