Porsche hopes to match last year’s 2.4 billion euro profit in 2013
Porsche AG is aiming to match last year’s profit in 2013, the company said. In 2012, Porsche posted an operating profit of 2.44 billion euros ($3.17 billion), an increase of 19 percent from the year before. Porsche’s revenue rose 27 percent to 13.9 billion euros.
Electric Version of the VW up! Unveiled
As if the Volkswagen Up! wasn’t frugal enough, the engineers at VW have decided to create an all-electric version of the tiny city car: the e-up! This will in fact be Volkswagen’s very first production electric vehicle, and while it’s unlikely to make it to the states, it is a large step forward for the German manufacturer.

A B.C. Canada mom is warning others about the dangers of car seat warmers, after hers burned the driver’s seat, causing her to pull over quickly, thinking her Volkswagen Jetta was on fire. The seat warmer of Lisa Cunnian’s Jetta burned her jeans while she was driving.
