Rolls-Royce has unveiled the limited Phantom Coupe Aviator Collection at the Pebble Beach Quail in the U.S. The Phantom Coupe Aviator Collection is inspired by Charles Stewart Rolls and the legend of the Schneider Trophy-winning Supermarine S6B, that was powered by a Rolls-Royce R Type engine.

Jaguar goes 4wd now, SUV later
It is a sign of things to come, as Jaguar will almost certainly offer a luxury off-roader, or SUV, within a few years. It might seem odd that the company which is a sister brand to Land Rover should offer an off-roader, but there really is no alternative. Most luxury saloon buyers have switched to SUVs, and so Jaguar has to offer them what they want.
Miss the elk, hit the bear
Hitting an elk is an occupational hazard in Scandinavia, and a pretty scary one, as they can end up coming through the windscreen.
According to a report in the Daily Telegraph, one Norwegian driver was relieved to swerve around an elk last Wednesday night – only to hit a bear instead.
Scania vetoes Saab sale
This saga is going on longer than the Wallander TV series. Scania, the Swedish truck company that was part of the same group as Saab from 1969 to 1995, has said it will never allow a Chinese-related company access to the griffin logo used by both Scania and Saab.
Beware of "cash for crash" scam, warns IAM
The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) has issued a timely warning about the appalling cash for crash scam, whereby criminals cause accidents in order to make false insurance claims.
