1.37 million Honda, Toyota and Ford vehicles investigated for defects


The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is looking into problems that could affect more than 1.37 million vehicles made by Honda, Toyota and Ford. NHTSA probes could lead to recalls; two of the inquiries have been ongoing since last October.

Honda unveils 2014 CTX700 line for new riders

American Honda has unveiled a new line of affordable street machines, led by the CTX700ND at the Chicago IMS. American Honda is going after starter riders in a big way with its new line of CTX700 motorcycles. The CTX700 and CTX700N are 2014 models based off the same Parallel Twin that debuted in the 2012 NC700X.

Honda Concept targets Europe’s compact wagon market

Honda released a teaser picture of its Civic wagon concept. The teaser shows a design flair that critics have said is lacking in the current Civic hatchback. The coupe-style window line avoids a boxy look in favor of styling that recalls more expensive wagons such as the Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake.

Honda wins ATV Crash Suit when Expert testimony ruled inadmissable

A US federal judge on Thursday, 31 January tossed a suit against American Honda Motor Co. Inc. after the jury hung, finding the plaintiff’s expert testimony about an allegedly defective all-terrain vehicle that caused an injury wasn’t admissible.
